The Worst Tech of this Past Year..

Believe it or not, Xmas is around the corner and many of you may be looking around for some tech for the lovable NERD in your life. Here's a list of some of the WORST tech of the past year from PC Magazine so that those of you who aren't so tech savvy don't make the mistake of pissing your favorite pocket protector wearer off..

What They Didn't Like: Detail can be lost when screening dark material. Poorly designed buttons. No DVI port.

Cell Phones

What They Didn't Like: As if the dim screen didn't make things hard enough to read, it doesn't take long for the Nokia to get covered in fingerprints and face grease.

Media Hubs, Receivers & Routers

Belkin N1 Wireless Router F5D8231-4
What They Didn't Like: Poor performance beyond 50 feet. Priced higher than competitors that perform better.

Cases & Carrying Gear

Mobile Edge Mini Messenger
What They Didn't Like: Poor overall design. Shoulder strap is especially uncomfortable.

Laptops, Notebooks

Howard Verity TW3
What They Didn't Like: Overall price is too high. Poor battery life. Tacky cover themes. Weak speakers.

Printers

Lexmark X4550
What They Didn't Like: Slow. Severely subpar text quality. Relatively low-quality photos for an ink jet.

LCD Displays

What They Didn't Like: Poor performance. One-year warranty on panel.

Digital Cameras

Kodak Easyshare V1003
What They Didn't Like: Noticeable shutter lag. Tiny controls. Poor performance. Some focusing problems.

MP3 Players (for having a Stupid Name)

The Trekstor i.beat blaxx (!?)
Why I Didn't Like it: Because it has a Stupid Name!! Can you believe that 'ish??? And I used to like this company :'(
