Honorable Mentions: LG Voyager & Nokia N95

LG's Voyager

Is this going to be the iPhone killer? I doubt it, but it seems to be getting a lot of buzz. The new LG Voyager (The replacement for the LG EnV) from Verizon Wireless has a touch screen interface and many multimedia features just like the iPhone. However the Voyager does includes a full QWERTY keyboard under the flip interface. CNet.com features the fight here:

(Merryweather vs. Hatton anyone?)

Nokia's N95 (Unlocked North America Version)

This expensive smartphone (as much as $700!) has received rave reviews. It's extremely feature packed, but is it selling? At a recent announcement by Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, chief executive of Nokia, he advised that they thought that they "could teach the U.S. market how we do business elsewhere, and frankly, that failed. Now we just want to act, based on the needs and requirements of the market.” - NYTimes.com

Expect more from Nokia in the coming months including iPhone like phones with full internet based services like games and music downloads. Finally, the cell phone game is getting interesting.
