Shop Safe!

The people over at the Gadge.. (Gadgetell via Telegraph) has posted some safe shopping tips for this holiday season:

• 'Ensure your computer is as well protected from hackers as possible, and that means keeping your anti-virus software up to date, installing and running a good firewall, and making sure that your computer is patched with the latest security updates from the vendor.'


• 'Deal with tried and tested websites that you have used before yourself without any problems or which come on the personal recommendation of a friend.'


• 'Ensure payment through a secure page.'

As I can’t stand going shopping with all the crowds and stuff myself. I hold the strong belief that online shopping is the way to go. But if we are going to virtual shop, best to do it safe.
