Last week, I helped a client search for a new car. I recommended that she step into a small Toyota for reasons: 1)She's a single NYC school teacher with not too much mulah to spend on something wasteful (see gas guzzling SUV or high maintenance luxo-coupe). I recommended that she look at the Corrola of which is has experience with and the Yaris (which when I showed her she loved) with even higher mileage, lots of interior space and a quicky design personality (she's a quirky chick).
But now Toyota has decided to get smart by going head to head with the Smart FourTwo Citycar with the IQ and I'm thinking about telling her to hold off for a little while because this thing is cute. They will be unveiling the new IQ at the Geneva Motor Show this March.
