Got a call from a friend recently. He had not too long before asked what would be a great present for his daughters graduation from Johns Hopkins University. Well since she recently had taken over dad's old Subaru and her laptop was aging, I suggested he get her a new Dell Inspiron 1525, especially since they were having a sale.
Great deal right? So why was he pissed off? Well, in the end after he added:

56Whr Battery 6 cell (vs. 28Whr 4 cell)
the complete cost of his daughters new toy ended up being $644.
What's worse? He paid almost $753 for the same configuration a couple of months before! My cousin paid a little bit more than even he did.
Why? The fine print. Shipping is not included and tax is as well as a variety of ever changing deals available leads to a variety of costs.
Soooo. He offered this tip for all of you readers... Like I always say - Read the fine print and shop, compare, shop and compare.
