Because it means not sitting in front of the laptop all day.

If I want to run a few errands mid-day, I know that even if something major happens, I’ll know about it. And if nothing happens, well, that’s all the better, I guess.
My Blackberry keeps me feeling... Connected.
Well, now there's a new toy on the block which has no ambition to appeal to the Wall Street types or any other kind of smartphone type or even to the youthful Sidekick type. Instead, it’s aimed at the world’s simple non-techie type. An iPod type perhaps. An 'elegance appreciator' If you're not interested in a device that does it all... Make calls, view YouTube video's, play games, emails and attachments.
If you are interested in eliminating cost and complexity, then the Peek is possibly for you.
"Meet Peek, the world's first device designed for and dedicated to your mobile email. The lightweight, slim design makes the Peek easy to take with you wherever you go and the large color display, full keypad and simple menus make emailing a breeze."
